Account Setup

Creating Your ArthumX Account

To start using ArthumX, you need to create a secure account. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Sign Up: Click the "Sign Up" button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
  2. Enter Your Information: Provide a valid email address, username, and secure password.
    Password Requirements: Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
  3. Verify Your Email: Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to verify your account.
  4. Complete Your Profile: Add additional information to your profile, including your full name and profile picture (optional).

Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication for additional security:

  1. Access Security Settings: Go to your Profile → Security settings.
  2. Enable 2FA: Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" and choose your preferred method:
    • Authenticator App (recommended)
    • SMS Verification
    • Email Verification
  3. Complete Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setting up 2FA.
Important: Store your backup codes in a secure location. These will be needed if you lose access to your 2FA device.

Wallet Management

Creating a New Wallet

ArthumX allows you to create and manage multiple blockchain wallets directly within the platform:

  1. Navigate to Wallets: Go to the "Wallets" section in your dashboard.
  2. Create New Wallet: Click the "Create New Wallet" button.
  3. Secure Your Wallet: Set a name for your wallet and create a password.
  4. Save Recovery Information: Store your seed phrase and private key securely offline.
    Warning: Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone. ArthumX will never ask for this information.

Connecting an Existing Wallet

If you already have a blockchain wallet, you can connect it to ArthumX:

  1. Go to Wallets: Navigate to the "Wallets" section.
  2. Select "Connect Wallet": Choose from the available connection methods:
    • MetaMask
    • WalletConnect
    • Import via Private Key (not recommended for regular use)
  3. Complete Connection: Follow the prompts to authorize the connection.

Managing Multiple Wallets

ArthumX allows you to manage all your wallets in one place:

  • Set Primary Wallet: Designate one wallet as your primary for automatic use.
  • Label Wallets: Give each wallet a meaningful name for easy identification.
  • View All Assets: See all tokens and NFTs across your connected wallets.
